What will the cleaners clean?
We provide your cleaners with a checklist of cleaning tasks to complete each time they visit your home. You can customize this checklist to fit your home and your needs or have your cleaners follow it as-is. You can view the full checklist here on this page.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
No. Your cleaners will arrive at your home equipped with all of the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to give your home the detailed, thorough cleaning you expect when hiring professional cleaners.
However, if you prefer we use your cleaning supplies in your home, we’re more than happy to do that (in most cases). Let us know ahead of time and leave the products out in plain sight on the day of your cleaning.
Do I need to be at home during my appointment?
No, you don’t have to be home during your house cleaning. We just need access to your home and the areas you’d like us to clean. Our clients provide entry to their homes in many ways, such as providing a key ahead of time, permitting neighbors to let us in, leaving a key in a lockbox at the residence, etc. When finished, our cleaners will lock up your residence and return your key to your preferred location. Our recurring customers can take advantage of our convenient lockbox rental service for added security.
Is Baltimore Home Cleaning insured?
Yes, we’re insured. We have General Liability insurance to protect your property against accidents. And we have Workers Compensation insurance in case one of our team members get injured on your property.
Is Baltimore Home Cleaning pet-friendly?
No, we’re pet obsessed. Seriously though, we love animals, and our teams are thrilled to work in homes with friendly pets. We will even accommodate pet instructions during your house cleaning service, such as letting your dogs out of the kennel before we leave.
However, since even friendly animals can get in the way, we ask that you secure all pets during your appointment. If a crate or kennel is unavailable, you can move them to an unoccupied room as your cleaners work through your home.
What kinds of products do you use?
Baltimore Home Cleaning prides itself on using only green, eco-friendly products in your home. Our products are safe for both children and pets, allowing stay-at-home parents to schedule cleanings while with the kids. We’ll never bring toxic or dangerous chemicals into your home.
When will I be charged?
We will preauthorize your card for a small amount (usually $1) when you schedule your first cleaning to make sure your card is active. Your bank will release these funds within a few days.
On the morning of your appointment, we will pre-authorize your card for the full cost of your cleaning.
After your cleaners have finished at your home, we will charge your card for the full amount due for your house cleaning plus any tip you’ve specified.
What's your cancellation policy?
Appointments may be canceled free-of-charge up until 5 PM the business day before your cleaning is scheduled to take place. After that, you may be charged a late cancellation fee up to the full cost of the canceled cleaning.
What if I'm not satisfied?
If you try Baltimore Home Cleaning and you’re not completely satisfied, just let us know, and we’ll send a team back to re-clean the areas you’re dissatisfied with–free-of-charge. Or give us the word and we’ll cancel your recurring cleaning plan. There’s no contract to get out of, no hassle, and no questions asked.
